I do like this. A lot. It’s not quite how I see her, but I love the art *hugs* Thanks so much for drawing her, especially so quickly!

Ooh, I love those highlights in her hair…just noticed them.

(I think I just picture her with a slightly softer mouth, and maybe the same for her jawline? Idk. Actually, I think that’s it: I picture her with a rounder face and a softer/larger mouth. I think it’s because a lot of the characterization I have for her so far is Vulcan ~~calm~~ composure mixed with a rather quiet nature, with occasional deadliness.)

(…maybe she really should be this angular. I just can’t quite make my mental image of her shift to that.)

And in the second to last episode of season one, it talks about hope and prosperity

And it talks about how one day we will stop wasting out money on war and death and start using it on something worth while:

But imagine

A world where we began using money on social things, uniting all human beings, earth exploration, and space exploration

Imagine your great great great great great great grandchild looking up at the sky and dreaming about joining Starfleet

And then studying his whole entire life to get into space

And they get there

And there are small human colonies all around the universe, interacting with aliens and learning about different planets across the stars

Across different galaxies

And different moons

Imagine the life forms that may exist on other planets that may be totally beyond our imagination, and yet still finding a way to interact with them

Imagine an earth that is loving and caring and willing to learn and explore

Star Trek sometimes seems like a silly thing

But it’s not.
